We use 7075 aircraft aluminum for all the stressed components due to it’s strength at elevated temps. This material is nearly as strong as steel, yet lightweight, as it is one third the weight of steel. Pound for pound, it is stronger than titanium.
Due to engineering and safety concerns, only complete kits are offered. A proportioning valve is included, and should be mounted (in-line of the rear brake line) in the cockpit, for balance front to rear. A pedal bias will still work, but this gives more precise control.

Mounting hardware
The SCCA does not allow modification to, or alternate bearing caps, therefore, the axle tubes will have to be removed to machine the back face of the bearing housing to create a true planar surface, at a known distance, for the rear caliper brackets to be aligned properly. One pair of your axle tubes machined, is included.
